Five Years the stage show, was made with support from Arts Council England and New Writing North in 2018 and toured 12 UK theatre venues in Autumn 2019. We were talking to Neal about producing a second poetry collection with him (his first collection Identity Bike Ride, was one of our first single collections) - we asked him why he wasn't selling a script of the show as merchandise for the tour.

We worked really fast on this one so that he could have copies for his home date in Nottingham. The editing was all but done as we had the final tour script, but we worked to lay out the text in a way that captured the mood of the stage show.
