A much anticipated prequel to Light The Blue Touch Paper. This book gives the background to Philippa's life between 1987 and 1998 which led to the start of her adventures at sea. An account of a woman gaining her independence through finding her wings. Philippa's books give real insight into life as a woman in the 1970s, 80s and highlight some of the rights for women that we now take for granted.
This is the second book we have worked on with Philippa. Much of the editing had been done by friends and former colleagues. The book contains a fair amount of technical information which was fact checked by Philippa with her ex-flying friends.
We looked to Ricard Heaven for our cover design. We hosted the launch was on Zoom as we were still in partial lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
